purplegreen3.jpgI’m Jen, the owner and designer behind eleanormac designs.  By day, I’m a not-for-profit worker in Indianapolis.  In my spare time, I’m a DIY crafter.  A few years ago I stopped by a bead shop, which led to beading classes, which then led to metal smithing courses.  All of that eventually led to the creation of eleanormac.

Eleanormac is named in honor of my two grandmothers, Eleanor and Maxine (Mac for short).  My main creative focus is my Beaded Bookmark Belt.  The concept came to me in a dream and it makes me so happy every time a bookmark is purchased.  I love books, and I love creating these pieces for others who share that appreciation of books. Every bookmark is handcrafted by me.

I also create Planet Crayons.  It isn’t a new concept; I know teachers have been doing it for years.  I strategically arrange pieces of crayons to create a functional piece of art.  Others are hand poured and layered into molds.  It’s definitely fun to look, touch and create with these crayons!

My items are available for purchase through my Etsy shop.

Interested in a custom order?  I would be happy to work with you to create pieces to match your wedding colors for bridal party gifts, or even if you’re just looking a particular color scheme for yourself!  Contact me at jen@eleanormac.com.
